We left the jetty with Greg & crew
Everybody’s sense of adventure grew
Soon we were well & truly underway
With heaps of bait, ready on the tray
Loz had the biggest mulloway I’ve ever seen
Stories were told about the fish that could’ve been
Food flowed from morning to night
Everybody’s mood was happy and light
The bread rolls were thrown thru the air
While Alex the deckie couldn’t help but stare
We swam in water tanks with frogs
Saw whales floating like logs
Were brown eyed by the locals
Entertained by ‘Mr Custers’ vocals
After practicing on the shark
Our friend Phillip the lark
Caught six big barra fish
While the croc wanted us on his dish
So off we roll from the boat
To full of food to float
An awesome adventure was had
“Please Don’t Make Me Go’ – it’s too sad.
Lindon & Sarana Begg
We hit the jackpot!
Now Captain Greg (a bit of a crackpot) so we are told
Would you believe, he is fearless and oh so bold
Now the ‘One Tide’ she is a ripper, just like her skipper.
No lack of things to see and do, we even saw a crocodile or two.
With promises “to touch our souls and leave us senseless –
Oh boy! We were so defenseless
We soared the heights and saw some awesome sights
Our days were ending so damned fast
So with sadness and heavy hearts
We just had to face it,
It was time to disembark
Jule’s & Phill Moorhouse
We came, we looked and liked
The Captain, the crew and all the other guests too
4 sunsets over the Buccaneer
The horizon we cried – but no fear
We wondered about the stars and satellites
And some unusual noises during the night
We climbed some hills
And swan in some pools
The water at Silica Beach was refreshingly cool
The 5 star meals and everything was great
But the end of the trip we hate
Klaus & Mimi Lenitschek
